How to use this website

This site has a few simple tools to make it comfortable for you. Here is what each one does. You cannot break anything by trying them.

  1. Make the words bigger. At the very top of the page you’ll see three letters: A, a bigger A, and the biggest A. Press one to grow all the text. The site remembers your choice.
  2. Turn on high contrast. Next to the letters is a “High contrast” button. Press it for bold black-and-white colors that can be easier to read.
  3. Have the page read to you. Press “🔊 Read this page aloud” and the computer will read the words out loud. Press “⏹ Stop reading” to stop.
  4. Choose your device. Tell us whether you’re using a phone, tablet, or computer. Then our guides use the right words for you — like “tap” on a phone or “click” on a computer. Try it here:
  5. Find your way around. The menu at the top has Learn, Stay Safe, For Families, and Get Help. On a small screen, press ☰ Menu to open it.
  6. Talk to a person. See the blue phone button at the top? You can press it to call us any time during opening hours. There is never a wrong question.
